Publicity Agreement

Following is a copy of our publicity agreement for regrantees. Please read carefully. Download Funding Statement for your playbills, programs and brochures. Thanks!

PUBLICITY AGREEMENT

By the signature on the grant agreement the grantee agrees to comply with the following.

1. CREDIT

a. The language used when crediting the Monmouth County Arts Council (MCAC) should read as follows: 
This program is made possible in part by the Monmouth County Arts Council through funding from the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the County Historical Commission, and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State a Partner Agency of the National Endowment of the Arts.

b. Credit must be given to MCAC, in all materials in which other funders are credited including brochures, web materials, releases and announcements of the grantee regarding all activities to which MCAC funds contribute.  The MCAC logo must be used when any other funder’s logo is used. 


2. DISTRIBUTION – Re-grantees agree to distribute MCAC’s publications at their events including but not limited to State of the Art, Member Directory, Membership brochure and special event materials.  It is your responsibility to pick these materials up before your events.
   

3. PHOTOGRAPHS:  It is required that a minimum of two photographs be provided to MCAC that document how the grantee’s activities are benefiting New Jersey, its residents and/or artists.  These photographs must be accompanied with approvals and releases that will allow MCAC to publish the images at its discretion.


4. LOGO(S)

c. The MCAC, County of Monmouth and the NJSCA logos and funding statement must be used by the grantee in publicizing those programs supported by a MCAC re-grant (included but not limited to newsletters, brochures and flyers).  Websites must include a link to the MCAC website
www.monmoutharts.org.

d. The logos and funding statement should be reproduced as a unit without alteration.  Different layouts are available on the web or on disc.  The MCAC logo should be the same size as any other sponsor’s logo. 


5. ADVERTISING:  Any advertising, regardless of size or length, placed by a re-grantee that credits a specific funding source must also credit the MCAC in the same manner.


6. 
PROGRAMS

e. All programs and/or playbills printed by a re-grantee that are eight pages or larger must devote a full page to the MCAC using a current MCAC advertisement.  Contact MCAC’s Communication’s Director at 732-212-1890.  

f. Credit must be given to the MCAC on the title page of all programs printed by a re-grantee organization in a type size not smaller than 7 pt.


7. CO-SPONSORSHIP:  Under no circumstances may a grantee state or imply that its programs and /or activities are “sponsored” or “co-sponsored” by the MCAC without expressed, written consent from the MCAC.
  

8. FUNDING SIGNAGE: A sign to be provided by the MCAC must be prominently displayed on an easel or entry wall at all grant funded events.  Re-grantees must pick up the sign, keep it in good condition, or replace it at your expense.
