Creative Aging Campaign
Support the Healing Power of the Arts!
Monmouth Arts is excited to launch the Creative Aging Campaign, which aims to bring the transformative power of the arts to our senior community. Teaching artists will deliver FREE visual arts activities once a week for eight weeks to seniors at Monmouth County community organizations.
We recognize a pressing need to connect with and value the voices of older adults in our area, particularly in light of the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many seniors feel isolated and disconnected, some even describing themselves as "invisible" and lacking purpose. Our Creative Aging Arts Program is designed to reach out to seniors in Monmouth County who are struggling and those who have a passion for lifelong learning and the arts.
With the Creative Aging Program, seniors can participate in a variety of stimulating and interactive visual arts activities that promote well-being in all aspects of life. The program is designed to be creative and educational while bringing seniors together socially. Each participant will be encouraged to feel a sense of accomplishment and purpose, leading to improved mental, emotional, and physical health.
We greatly appreciate your past donation to the Monmouth Arts. We invite you to continue your support by participating in our Creative Aging Campaign. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by July 1, 2023, to expand the program to various locations within the County.
To make our plans a reality, we need your help! Can YOU make a special contribution of $50, $100, $250, $500, or $1,000? Just click the "Donate Now" link to make a difference today. All contributors will be listed on this page.
Thank you in advance for making a positive impact in our community!
