RETHINK MONMOUTH ARTS
WILL YOU JOIN THE MOVEMENT?

This year has shown us that our work at Monmouth Arts is vital, and our arts programs and services are more critical now than ever. Whether as a form of expression and escape during the COVID-19 pandemic or as a tool for social justice and education amid the Black Lives Matter movement, art is powerful.
In mid-March, the Monmouth Arts team had to ReThink our next steps and how to best respond and serve our community's needs amid the pandemic. With help from supporters like you, we created and supported new arts programming like Chalk the Walk and Exquisitely Connected as a means of creative expression and connection in our community. We pivoted to a virtual platform for programs like Signs of Hope, which provides visual and performing arts instruction, activities, and projects for youth in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County. We also celebrated the creativity of our senior artists in our virtual Monmouth County Senior Art Show and engaged thousands of students in our virtual Teen Arts Festival and Summer Showcase. As the official County Arts Responder, we provided essential services to artists, art organizations, and art-related businesses, including information gathering and dissemination, financial assistance, advocacy, and recovery resources.
Monmouth Arts prevailed in the face of adversity and none of this would have been possible without you.
But there is more to come! Next year, Monmouth Arts celebrates our 50th Anniversary as the leading arts organization in Monmouth County. We are not only planning exciting arts programming and events to commemorate this milestone, but we are also ReThinking who we are and how best to serve our community moving forward.
Won’t you please support us as we ReThink, evolve, and maintain our position as the leading arts organization in Monmouth County? Your tax-deductible contribution ensures that our arts programming and services remain an integral part of our community, now and for years to come.
Fifty years is just the beginning, and we need you to be a part of our future.
