Artistic Achievement Award

Anthony D’Amato, known onstage as Remember Jones, is celebrated for his work as a director, producer, vocalist, and songwriter in music and theatre worlds. He has taken on lead roles in musicals throughout the country and has directed several acclaimed productions, including notorious work with the musical HAIR and the NJ premiere of Hedwig and the Angry Inch at the Baronet Theatre in 2007. As an acclaimed frontman and personality, his theatrical stagings of original music with a large band and retellings of other artists’ catalogues has brought his work to the national spotlight, selling out music venues and theatres to great acclaim. He has shared stages with George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Ronnie Spector & The Ronettes, Darlene Love, Buster Poindexter, Ivan Neville, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, and more, and recently celebrated the 100th birthday of Dean Martin with a recording project with his daughter, Deana Martin. Remember Jones continues to grow his brand in many creative, unique ways throughout the country alongside many celebrated artists, while releasing new music and artistic content.

Tim Donnelly got his start in music in 1991 working on the inaugural Lollapalooza festival for the Surfrider Foundation. He worked as a writer for MTV, Surfing Magazine, and Relix Magazine, which led to working with his pal Danny Clinch on several music documentaries. A move to Asbury Park a decade ago led to producing events on the Asbury Park boardwalk, including Sea.Hear.Now, a pop-up gallery featuring local bands and surfing-related artists. After Superstorm Sandy, he co-produced a relief concert called “On The Beach” to get Jersey Shore families back into their homes. He’s been the Producer of the Asbury Park Music + Film Festival since its inception and is a founding partner of one of the world’s most unique surfing contests, The Cold War. Together with his partners HM Wollman and Clinch, they formed Between The Sets and teamed with C3 Presents to take Sea.Hear.Now from a neighborhood party on the boardwalk to an international music and arts festival on the Asbury Park beach. Their formula of having old and new friends play music, make art, and surf for a September weekend has struck a chord with fans and the industry alike. Since the festival's launch, Sea.Hear.Now has been nominated for mid sized festival of the year and named the most environmentally sustainable festival in the United States.
