ABOUT
Monmouth Arts is very excited to announce the kickoff of our Teen Arts Virtual STAGE + SHOWCASE! We are disappointed that it is not possible for students to gather at our typical festival to watch each other perform and view each other's work. The last year has been difficult for so many of us, navigating through the hardships of the pandemic. Monmouth Arts realizes that the arts are more important now than ever before; it is through the arts that we can express our feelings, provide comfort to one another, inspire hope for the future, and bring together our talented community of artists...and we want YOU to help us do all of these things!
In response to the current state of things, we hope to provide our teens with an artistic outlet, much like they would have experienced at the Monmouth Arts Teen Arts Festival had we been in-person, however in a virtual format that keeps everyone safe and healthy!
What is the Teen Arts Virtual Stage + Showcase?
Instead of having weekly showcases, this year Monmouth Arts will premiere one big showcase on our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) featuring performances, visual art, and more from young artists throughout our community! We invite viewers from locally and beyond to check out the incredible talent thriving right here in Monmouth County. Visual arts selections compiled throughout the contest will be compiled into an Online Teen Arts Gallery! The 2021 Virtual Stage + Showcase will premiere Friday, April 23rd.
Who can enter?
Any Monmouth County resident between the ages of 13-19 is eligible to submit an entry! Entrants must currently be following Monmouth Arts on Instagram (@MonmouthArts).
How do I submit an entry?
Submit the entry form along with your video or image by Friday, April 16th.
