RESIDENCE OF NELSON KUPERBERG & DR. DAVID GIFFLER

JUNE 2, 2023

FREEHOLD -- Join us on Friday, June 2nd, to tour the 19th-century Freehold home of Nelson Kuperberg and Dr. David Giffler. Built by George Taylor in 1870, the magnificent, buttercup yellow house is a picture-perfect expression of French Second Empire architecture, sometimes referred to as the wedding cake style, that was popular in America during this time. You’ll find collections of museum-inspired objects and artwork, everyday knick-knacks, and vintage family photographs. Drawing inspiration from history, movies, and theater, Nelson’s personal design touch offers much to be admired throughout the dramatic rooms and winding hallways. A walk through this eclectic home will leave you discovering new things in every secret nook and cranny.
