Grey Area explores the two years that have passed since a shift in our political landscape. The photos here were taken in February of 2017, less than a month after the presidential inauguration. The images should encourage viewers to consider both how quickly the past two years have gone by and how much or how little progress has been made. Additionally, how would these photographs have been viewed at the time they were taken? How should they be viewed now?
