MONMOUTH ARTS CAN ASSIST MUNICIPALITIES IN DEVELOPING CULTURAL PLANS THAT MAKE COMMUNITIES MORE DESIRABLE PLACES TO LIVE AND WORK
These plans enable inspiration, education, entertainment, employment, and a strengthening of the community’s social fabric by identifying cultural assets and developing and prioritizing goals that take advantage of the role of the arts in building community.
Developed during 2012 with the Monmouth County Planning Board, “Imagine, Envision, Create”– Monmouth Arts updated countywide cultural arts plan builds upon the previous plan, “A Blueprint for the Arts,” and integrates input and research from a broad range of artists, arts organization, creative industries, planning, tourism, education and economic development.
We have partnered with the Monmouth County Planning Board on integrating arts, entertainment, and culture into the Bayshore and Coastal Monmouth Regional Planning process. We’ve also assisted in the development of cultural arts plans for Red Bank and Asbury Park.
