Monmouth Beach Rising

Monmouth Beach Rising is a temporary multimedia art project inspired by the increasing sea levels that are posing a threat to the coastal community of Monmouth Beach. The artist behind the project is Allison Hunter, a photographer and multimedia artist who primarily works with video. The project will be held at the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center, a public property near Galilee and the Navesink Marina on Ocean Avenue. The Center is known as the "heartbeat of the town" and hosts various community events, art shows, cultural exhibits, and musical concerts.
