(Red Bank, NJ) -- Through a partnership with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Monmouth Arts announces that the ArtHelps Local Arts Program grant guidelines, applications, and workshops for 2027 are now available. Nonprofit arts organizations and other nonprofits with arts programs are eligible to apply. Each year these competitive grants are awarded to local nonprofit arts organizations that provide high-quality art programs and events to residents throughout Monmouth County.

Groups are invited to go to https://www.monmoutharts.org/arthelps to see the full guidelines, applications, and the schedule for grant workshops. The application deadline is Monday, June 15, 2026. Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to attend one of the free online grant workshops scheduled for April 29th at 12:00pm and May 13th at 5:00pm to learn more about the grant program and application process.

The types of grants include General Operating Support for arts organizations, Special Project Support for all types of nonprofits, and Mini Grants for small and emerging arts organizations. This is a competitive grant process reviewed by a panel of independent arts experts.

Grant applications were evaluated based on Monmouth Arts’ funding priorities, which include promoting cultural equity, diversity, and inclusion; forging partnerships and collaborations among individuals or organizations; broadening public participation; advancing and advocating for arts education in schools and life-long learning; and preserving and conserving art forms and cultural heritage.
