Celebrating Creativity at the Annual Monmouth Arts Teen Arts Festival

Updated: Mar 28

By Debra Maricic

The annual Monmouth Arts Teen Arts Festival is a vibrant celebration of the remarkable achievements of Monmouth County’s most talented young artists. Monmouth Arts takes great pride in fostering, enriching, and empowering students by championing the arts as a powerful means of self-expression.

This year, the 2024 Monmouth Arts Teen Arts Festival brought together thousands of talented students from Monmouth County, aged 13 to 19, for a memorable two-day event at Brookdale Community College. Participants from over 35 schools had the opportunity to receive professional

critiques in their chosen artistic disciplines, engage in fun and interactive cross-disciplinary workshops, showcase their talents in peer performances, and display their artworks in exhibitions.

The festival featured an exciting array of workshops, including "Brown Baggin’ it with Porkchop," podcast creation, jewelry making, figure drawing, circus art, dancing, comic book illustration, ceramics, and much more.

The Monmouth Arts Teen Arts Festival serves as a nurturing platform where young talents can shine and receive invaluable feedback from experienced artists. Since its inception in 2017, the festival has welcomed over 11,560 student participants to the Monmouth Arts Teen Arts Festival & Teen Arts Showcase.
